THE HISTORY OF THE SYNDICAT
The Syndicat de Paris is one of the oldest French professional unions still active. Founded in 1869 “to look after the general interests of the grain, by-products and fodder trade, and (…) to be a family court”, it is at the origin of numerous legislative developments and the creation of institutions or unions which now do the agricultural raw materials trade. In the booklet below (in French) you will discover a summary of its actions and the place that the Syndicat de Paris currently holds in European, and beyond, agricultural products trade.
